Guest House in the Mountains

This guest house for mountain retreat is located on the site of an old building in Barcelona. The renovation project was developed by the architecture studio Dom Arquitectura. The architects were unable to change the building's dimensions, so they first insulated it and added hydro-isolation. To expand the limited space, they decided to make it as open as possible. The new terrace became a connecting element between the interior and the beautiful garden, which can now be enjoyed without leaving the house or relaxing under a canopy. The internal organization of the house is based on continuity and consistency, where the living room, dining area, and kitchen form a single unit, while the bedroom forms a separate block, free of partitions or doors.
