Cumberland Townhouse in Brooklyn
The Cumberland Townhouse in Brooklyn has found new owners while in extremely poor condition. The back wall of the house was on the verge of collapse, and water constantly leaked into the interior. The clients turned to Ensemble Architecture in New York, who successfully restored the residence and even expanded it using a two-level addition. The glass doors open to a garden in the backyard. Grapevines will eventually cover all interior walls of the garden in the future. On the first floor of the addition, a kitchen and dining room were designed, and the master bedroom is located upstairs.
