Writer's House in Bologna
The studio Giraldi Associati Architetti designed a modern house for a writer in Bologna, Italy. The residence is located in a densely built area where building height should not exceed three floors, and only condominiums surround it. The simple and clean forms of the house are characterized by alternating volumes, in which various functional zones were designed. The first floor features a living room, kitchen, and dining area, separated from each other by a brick wall with a fireplace. The decor in this part of the house is simple and understandable. The lower level also houses a laundry room, bathroom, and utility room. Above, the office, relaxation room, terrace, and sleeping block were planned.
