Believe it or not, this house in Chicago was once a Catholic church. Today, all that remains of the 'House of God' are vaulted arches, high ceilings, and stained glass windows. The spaces here are not just big—they're so vast that the owners were able to install a climbing wall in one of the rooms. The project is unique not only for its scale, but also for the idea of transforming an old church into a home for a young family—an impressive and captivating concept. What's most impressive is how the designers managed to create entirely modern living spaces while preserving the history of the building. This was achieved through beautiful stained glass windows, wooden beams and floors, and some original walls left untouched. This living space is breathtaking in its grandeur and freshness. Words are unnecessary here—enjoy the photos.
