Architect Mark Abel, together with interior designer Myca Loar, developed this cliffside home in Laguna Beach, California. The project was designed using 3D modeling software. Specifically, the software was used to design a 3D steel frame with cantilevered beams for all three levels. The house, offering a 180-degree view of the ocean and Catalina Island, spans 324 square meters and includes 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a media room, and a glass elevator. A smart home with heating, lighting, security cameras, music systems, irrigation, and blind controls can be managed via iPad or smartphone. The home is currently listed for sale through The Partners Trust.
