Color Therapy: An Interesting Palette in the Interior of a 75 sq. m Apartment in Barcelona
Architects Andrea Serboli and Matteo Colombo managed to liven up a gloomy apartment in Barcelona using an interesting palette. They used the technique of color zoning — dedicating each room to its own shade. The most vibrant result was the kitchen — a carrot color flows from the ceiling to the kitchen countertop and then to the floor, supported by accessories in the same shade. The second part of the room is calmer — beige — but that's if you don't count the burgundy ceiling. The office cabin is also decorated in similar orange tones, which helps to energize for solving tasks. The bedroom, as the main relaxation area, is done in green tones and complemented with patterned tiles. Such color zoning is rarely seen in apartments, what do you think of this solution?
