The AP House project, presented by GGA architects, was realized near the city of Urbino, Italy.
While the composition of the building interprets typical architectural themes for this region, the interiors, material treatment, and furnishings clearly reflect the spirit of modernity.
The full program of residential functions is distributed across three levels. To avoid parking cars and other forms of transport on the garden grounds, the main entrance is located in a large garage on the ground floor.
On the lower level, in addition to technical rooms, all key elements are located: a cinema hall, an exhibition gallery in the space between the main building and its annex, as well as a gym with a connected spa area.
Stairs from the basement lead directly to the center of the main part of the building, offering a breathtaking view of the hills and the pool. On the first floor are the living room, dining room, kitchen, and a private studio. On the second level, there is the main sleeping block, as well as two additional bedrooms with bathrooms. The third building is located in the garden on a small embankment hill.
The ground floor includes a storage room for garden equipment, and on the first level, one can find a barbecue area. The electrical supply is maintained by an extensive photovoltaic system hidden in the ground and located at a distance from the buildings.
The furniture design made of natural walnut wood is entirely developed by GGA architects.
