Two-Story Loft in Salzburg
Architectural bureau Smartvoll realized the project Loft Panzerhalle, which has won numerous awards at international competitions. The 350 square meter residence is located in Salzburg, Austria. It consists of two levels and demonstrates an excellent result in restoring the unique industrial charm of the space and filling it with modern interior solutions.
The main feature in the loft's interior design is waxed concrete. Only delicate semi-transparent materials were used in addition to concrete. For example, a secloprofile separates the guest area, white curtains hide the bedroom when needed, and built-in furniture does not overload the space. An interesting solution is a steel bookshelf hanging from the second floor.
From the first floor of the loft, there are exits to two balconies where a contemplative zen garden with a grassy mound and jasmine tree, as well as a classic terrace for relaxation, are created.
