Architectural Bureau 100 A implemented the project of a private residence B' house in a small village in Gwangju Province, Republic of Korea.
The 311 square meter mansion is divided into two parts connected by an open area with lawns. The two living areas are designed opposite each other, while the bedrooms are located in the opposite parts of the two buildings.
The first house is built in a simple and minimalist style. As requested by the client, it resembles an art gallery. White is chosen as the main color. High ceilings, large windows, and well-thought-out lighting make the house spacious and bright.
The client wanted to place all their vintage furniture in the parents' house, so the interior had to match. Elegant and grand pieces required open space. A 6-meter-high ceiling allowed the living area to be decorated in a dark color.
