Family Apartment from Milan
The studio Elena & Francesco Colorni Architetti completed the interior design of an apartment in Milan, Italy. Located in the historic part of the city, this residence is a bright and open space that is simultaneously functional, cozy, and fully meets the needs of a growing family. The architects succeeded in preserving the authenticity of the place while giving the object a modern character.
First, it was decided to get rid of dark corridors and redirect the living room toward a beautiful terrace of 20 square meters, equipped with a retractable tent, making it suitable for use even in poor weather. The living room area is a large open space with a sofa, dining table, and a long iron bench that complements the library made of the same material. The kitchen is separated by a glass window, and further down the corridor, a sleeping block was designed, including a wardrobe, bathroom, and office.
