Scandinavian vibe in the cozy attic interior
On the attic of a house in Göteborg, Sweden, this wonderful loft is located. The space under the roof dictates its geometry, so the ceiling here has slopes that, in turn, beautifully transform the space and create wonderful shadows. The main task for the designer was to use as much furniture as possible without overcrowding the space. Previously, the sofas stood together in the corner by the large three-pane window.
To avoid blocking the window and to lighten the central area of the room, it was decided to add a pair of armchairs to one of the sofas and move it next to the dormer window, while placing the second sofa perpendicular to it. To accommodate the black bookcase, the wall between the hallway and living room was extended. Overall, the interior here is typically Scandinavian: white, gray, and black complemented with trendy bronze and cast iron details. The space also includes houseplants that look vibrant and saturated against the bright background. Thus, this Swedish attic became stylish and modern.
