Living Studio with Work Area in Hong Kong7 photos
Architectural bureau Bean Buro designed a living space and office under one roof. The 112 sq. meter apartments are located in a high-rise complex on the seaside in Hong Kong. The project clients are emigrants working from home, so certain conditions were essential for them. Architects removed two non-load-bearing walls to transform a three-bedroom apartment into a living studio with workspaces. Panoramic windows not only offer a view of the harbor but also fill the space with natural daylight. The interior is designed in a light color palette using natural wood finishes. The central architectural element is a wall that smoothly runs through the entire apartment, defining separate functional zones. The apartment includes a bedroom, office, living room, dining area, bar, and two bathrooms.
