Cozy and Luxurious Rural House Surrounded by Nature
Interior that radiates warmth thanks to the use of natural materials, which combine with the elegance of natural stone and slate. Modern and refined design completes the look of this house located in the suburbs and surrounded by forest.
Adapting a house to a wild and natural landscape is not always simple. However, there are thousands of houses perfectly suited to nature where interior and façade harmoniously blend, creating a unique and distinctive atmosphere. This is exactly what happens in this recently designed home in the suburbs, surrounded by forest.
PinterestThe house, quite impressive, has 3000 square meters, distributed in the interior with three bedrooms; a pool and spa area with various baths — Turkish, Russian, sauna and others, a large living room with huge glass walls and other interesting details.
The architecture of the house was determined by the owner's desire to preserve the trees that already existed on this plot. The semantic center of space is the living room with two lights, one of which is entirely made of glass and offers a view to the terrace. However, minimalistic design with an abundance of glass, metal and concrete did not suit the owners, so the interior designer chose to create a cozy and warm atmosphere, in the style of a rural house familiar to nature.
In an effort to add warmth and comfort to the cold minimalistic volumes, the architect opted for natural wood. Wooden cladding, floors, tobacco tree, Japanese apple and walnut built-in furniture are made by Russian craftsmen with high quality.
Kitchen
Sergey KrasuykAs we can see, basalt was laid on kitchen and basement floors, while slate was added to bedroom walls. In some places, as a reminder of the concrete past, the walls were painted with rough-textured grey paint.
Living Room
Sergey KrasuykNatural stone adds sophistication to interiors through marble, which appears in various shades and slate. In essence, the color of the marble inspired the design of the living room wall, to which they decided to add a forest image that complements the external landscape. But this is not ready-made wallpaper, rather a special panel created by photographer Valery Bliznyuk who went to Solovki and took a series of photographs of amazing trees, which he then combined and printed on canvas with crackled lacquer.
Color Tones
Sergey KrasuykAlthough the house already had a wealth of textures and materials, the client wanted even more color. For this reason, small painted details were placed such as a pool with permeable blue mosaic and painted chandeliers in the living room and other common rooms.
