A Small Terrace Used All Year Long

The terrace is only 8 m2 in size, but architects made it as comfortable as possible: they installed an outdoor floor with wooden planks that add more warmth, and designed a custom bench to efficiently use the space. This is an L-shaped bench in white color that doesn't disappoint and adds lightness and spaciousness.

Living Room Opening to the Terrace (and Light)

To maximize their slightly over 60 m2, architects removed partitions and thus created a large, transparent day zone with no door openings at all. Now from the hall you can see the terrace. Moreover, they enlarged the living room window in height and width: it was only about one meter long before, now it runs almost from wall to wall... and voilà! The floor is filled with light. This, along with painting the terrace in a light color (since it was dark before).

Furniture for Living Room or Steps? Both Options!

Designers showed creativity not only in space redistribution but also in furniture design, with most of it custom-made. An example is the steps leading to the terrace which also serve as low furniture in the living room.

Mini Dining Area with Maximum Capacity

Where do you see space for up to 8 people to sit comfortably in this dining area? And without feeling cramped. This was very important for the owners, as they are a young couple who love hosting friends at home.

Kitchen That Acts as a Lamp

The transparent kitchen is one of the great advantages of this apartment, allowing views from the terrace. It's small but nothing is missing! Super utilized: it has a bar they often use, plenty of light and a wall of cabinets integrating appliances. A large guillotine-style window gives many opportunities, besides adding character to the kitchen and being very convenient for serving dishes.

White Bedroom

The color choice was very deliberate. Being a small apartment, the designer chose to unite spaces with soft sand for walls that gives a warm and cozy tone, as well as white color for furniture and textiles.

Bathroom Integrated into the Bedroom

In the main bathroom, the designer removed the makeup table and integrated it into the room. They placed the mirror so that it reflects the window, which further increases light.
