6 Ideas for Storage in a Two-Level Apartment, 57 m²
Read, get inspired and choose what suits you best
The interior of this two-level apartment impresses with its minimalism and comfort. It was designed by musician, singer, and homestager Diana Zapunidi. They literally changed everything: restructured the walls and divided the space into several functional zones. Thanks to 5-meter-high ceilings, they created a full second floor. Let's see how they solved the storage issue — we've gathered great ideas from the project.

Storage Under the StairsThe entrance hall is compact but quite convenient. To the right of the front door, a built-in deep closet was made for outerwear and shoes. It also houses the electrical panel and utility block. Sliding mirrored doors serve as a full-length mirror, add depth and light to the space.
Functional KitchenThe kitchen niche is small but maximizes its area. The cabinet was made angular, storage is organized in tall upper fronts, lower drawer units and sliding doors.
Wall-Mounted ConsoleThere is a full-length mirror and console in the small hallway, which can also function as a functional vanity table. The drawer units are great for storing cosmetics, documents and accessories for gadgets.
Bed with Storage BoxA bed with a lifting mechanism and additional storage space is an optimal solution for small bedrooms. It's easy to lift, offers a good overview of the contents and easy access to everything at once, and also provides space for storing items with high height and width.
Built-In WardrobeThe bedroom features a large built-in wardrobe with fronts in wall color. It looks stylish and harmonious, doesn't take up much space, and the abundance of storage areas allows for neat organization of all necessary items.
Functional NicheA tall and deep niche was created in the bathroom for storage. Unlike wall-mounted shelves or wardrobes, it doesn't protrude from the wall and doesn't obstruct free movement. It can be supplemented with glass shelves if needed.
