1. In her apartment, designer Yana Volkova used her windowsill to the fullest extent. It is multifunctional and structurally interesting. Yana fully implemented it according to her own drawings.

The windowsill is part of the dining area and an additional place for more guests. Also, a cozy rest zone with a cup of coffee in the mornings or a book. Yana installed dimmable wall sconces on the window sills and numerous outlets in the shelves for gadgets.

2. The pride of this project in an old house on Lenin Prospect is the spot by the window. Designer Sergey Tregubov decorated the windowsill area with a custom-designed construction that comfortably holds two people. A cozy nook by the window with soft textiles is located in a private bedroom area.

3. To make the interior of a one-room apartment as functional as possible, designer Rustam Urazmetov utilized all the window sills. In the bedroom we can see a windowsill that serves two purposes: on one side, it is a desk, and on the other side, a cozy sofa. This solution compensated for the lack of separate furniture pieces.

4. All window sills in this loft studio designed by Alexander Arnholtz are wide. This allowed him not to overthink anything and simply throw a couple of cushions on the chairs to get a comfortable place for relaxation. By the way, there is a desk near the window sill. You can always put a cup of tea, a book or a phone on it and enjoy the view from the window.

5. Another similar solution can be seen in this apartment with panoramic windows. Designer Irina Chistyakova used the entire width of the window block and decorated a cozy sofa. It turned out to be almost a full-sized sleeping area: one can stretch out on it fully. And, of course, sit together and watch the sunset. By the way, Irina placed two narrow bookshelves on both sides of the window.

6. In this project, designer Natalia Preobrazhenskaya provided a soft windowsill in the children's room. Children sometimes also want to be alone and have their own cozy corner where nobody disturbs them. Under the seat, Natalia provided drawers for storage. And around the perimeter of the construction, there were solid surfaces for games and cups of tea with desserts. By the way, the windowsill was painted a bright green color, and the room immediately transformed.
