How to Make a Stylish 'Grandmother's' Interior — Example from Sweden
This 58 square meter two-room apartment brings together almost all the elements of a 'grandmother's' interior: a bordeaux-colored foldable wooden table, a checkered throw blanket, and even a curtain in front of the entrance door. Surprisingly, it all looks stylish.

As in most Swedish apartments, the kitchen, dining area, and living room are combined here. Olive-toned cabinets blend well with wooden green chairs. At first glance, the kitchen interior looks too simple, but upon closer inspection, many interesting details can be noticed: built-in open wine shelf, antique clocks made from 18th-century marine barometers, and wall sconces from ship cabins.

The living room is vibrant: red sofa and velvet armchair (just look at those carved legs!) stand out against the olive walls. The relaxation area is located in a niche: with a red velvet sofa and crystal chandelier, it turned out to be appropriately theatrical. Three wide windows illuminate the entire space.

Through the large double doors, the bedroom can be seen. Inside, there is a balcony exit. To enjoy views of the harbor, two armchairs were placed opposite the balcony. The bookshelf combined with velvet armchairs looks cinematic.

The bathroom is fully tiled. Everything inside is comfortable and free of unnecessary details.

The hallway in the apartment turned out spacious. On one side, a wardrobe was placed here, and on the other — a coat rack. The curtain in front of the entrance door, despite its vintage appearance, looks cute against the avant-garde interior.
