Choose a neutral palette
The best option is light. For example, milky white complements any color accents, makes the space look visually larger and cleaner. Plus, this color is easy to update.

Order quality finishing materials
A well-done renovation can increase rental rates by an average of 15%. High-quality materials last much longer than others, meaning you won't need a new renovation for years.

Paint the walls
Although wallpapers are cheaper, it's better to spend a bit more and paint the walls. That way, you can easily update the look in the future, even if kids draw or pets scratch them.

Choose durable flooring
Linoleum gets scratched and dented after just a few years, and carpets often cause allergies. The most optimal choice is tiles or vinyl floors.

Designate a storage space
Set up a small wardrobe or closet, even in a small apartment. For example, install shelves in a niche and cover them with doors.

Use minimal furniture
Purchase only what is necessary. Try to provide a proper sleeping area: nowadays, many people prefer apartments with a bed when renting. As for the sofa, choose one with removable covers so it can be cleaned or replaced at any time.

Don't skimp on plumbing
This way, you can be sure it will last long. A cast iron bathtub is a good choice: it's resistant to damage and can be restored with liquid acrylic if needed.
