In this 37-square-meter apartment, all essentials were arranged: kitchen, dining room, living room, and bedroom. We visited and share what we especially liked about this project besides its beauty and comfort.

A young couple who approached Darya Lebedeva were creative professionals; they immediately connected with the designer. As a result, the clients received an apartment that, despite its small size, feels convenient and spacious.

Lifehack #1: Concealed the door behind a mirror in the hallway

In the hallway—also known as the wardrobe area—there is a large floor-to-ceiling 3-meter closet, a pouf with a soft seat and storage space, and a door to the bathroom. The door is mirrored: it visually expands the hallway and simplifies getting ready at the wardrobe.

Lifehack #2: Hidden washing machine in a niche

The niche is elevated—this makes using the machine more convenient. The area below was organized for storing cleaning supplies. To save on mosaic, it was cut from ceramic granite to look like marble. The walls in the bathroom were tiled with full sheets of the same material.

Lifehack #3: Concealed all utilities above the toilet

This was achieved with a hidden hatch in the wall.

Lifehack #4: Hidden refrigerator and secret storage in the kitchen cabinet

The kitchen is visually divided into two parts: white kitchen cabinets and countertop along one wall, and wood-like finishing at the end where all essentials are hidden.

Lifehack #5: Defined dining zone with 3D panels

This allowed fitting a mini-restaurant in the space of a tiny apartment.

Lifehack #6: Full-sized living room placed by the window

It turned out to be elongated in shape. The modest dimensions do not affect the functionality and comfort of the lounge area: carefully chosen accent color sofa and designer shelf. It’s a pleasure to be here.

Lifehack #7: Bedroom separated by glass partitions

This solution preserved the room’s volume and didn’t block access to natural light. Thoughtful lighting in the bedroom made the space entirely intimate.
