Convenient Layout of a Two-Room Apartment: Example from Sweden
This two-room apartment with an area of 57 square meters has almost perfect layout. First of all, all rooms are isolated from each other, but at the same time they are connected by a large corridor. The unification of several spaces into one for family leisure is handled by arches.

At first glance, the apartment seems dark, but this is a misleading impression. There is plenty of light here, which is indispensable for traditional Scandinavian interior design. The light fills the apartment thanks to wide windows and deep window frames.

The kitchen is small but practical. To visually increase its area, designers chose glossy facades. This reflects daylight from the facades, making the space appear larger.

The living room is bright and spacious. Inside, angular-shaped lamps and strict dark furniture become softer due to a large soft sofa and cozy textiles around. A special place in the living room is taken by plants: dried rowan berries and flowering decorative palms.

The main accent in the bedroom is an operational stove from the 19th century, which has been here since the house was built. To highlight the stove, the walls were painted in a gray shade of "Moss." The room size allowed designers to plan a wardrobe zone. To make it harmonize with the antique "resident" of the room, instead of ordinary partitions, copper pipes were installed, like the one connected to the stove.

The bathroom is small but well-thought-out. Designers even installed a bathtub that can be converted into a shower upon request.

The corridor in the apartment is long and spacious. There is room for several hangers, a cabinet, a full-length mirror, and many flowers in white pots.
