We published design projects all month long — so different yet cozy in their own way. We've selected five most atmospheric bedrooms that are sure to appeal to everyone.

A bedroom is one of the most important rooms in an apartment. Here you can relax and restore your energy before the next day. Take a look at how designers decorate bedrooms in their projects, and get inspired together with us.

Small Bedroom in Dark Tones

Designer Ekaterina Ulanova came up with a way to fit a bedroom into just 29 square meters: she separated it from the common space with a metal and glass partition. When closed, it completely isolates the bedroom with blackout curtains.

Despite its small size, the room was decorated in a dark gray color palette. The walls were left with concrete (only slightly sanded and coated with a protective layer). Thanks to large windows, it's well-lit and doesn't look cramped. This effect is enhanced by glossy paint applied to the window surface and sills.

Light Bedroom for a Student

To use the space functionally, designers from Lauri Brothers studio allocated part of the bedroom for a bathroom and separated it with a glass partition. When needed, a thick curtain can be drawn to hide what's behind it.

In another section of the bedroom, they placed a wardrobe — also closed with powder-colored curtains. These match the bed headboard in color and blend beautifully with gray walls.

Small Bedroom with Bright Accents

How to liven up a white interior? Fill it with bright accents — designer Svetlana Gavrilova opted for a bed with a vibrant headboard and colorful textiles. This technique draws attention away from the tight space.

To save space, the area near the window was turned into a desk with drawers and shelves. A mirror is also placed here so you can get ready in the morning. Natural light from the window is sufficient, so additional lighting wasn't necessary.

Light Mini-Bedroom Behind Glass

To find space for a bedroom in an apartment, designer Marina Merenkova separated part of the living room with a glass partition. The mini-bedroom was decorated in white tones to add airiness to the interior. There was just enough room for a double bed and a small IKEA dresser. Despite the limited space, it feels cozy — a perfect place to rest after a tough day.

Cozy Bedroom in Beige Tones

Designer Natalia Preobrazhenskaya chose neutral beige tones for the bedroom's decor. To prevent the interior from looking dull, she focused on printed wallpaper — it instantly added mood to the room. Small bright details in blue and turquoise also helped diversify the setting — they were incorporated in measured amounts to avoid overloading.
