6 Ways to Zone Space Using Partitions

Using Wooden Batten Partitions

With simple laminated wooden beams, designers from the studio "Forma Dom" separated several functional zones on a small area: bedroom, kitchen-dining room, and living room. A small fireplace was even installed behind one of the partitions—resulting in a cozy look.

Or Glass

An excellent way to add privacy to a room is to separate zones with a glass partition. Even an interior in dark tones will remain calm, intimate, and airy.

Architects from the studio CENS architects replaced a wall between the kitchen and living room with a glass partition, adding light and space to the room. A curtain can be added to such a partition if desired.

Build a Partition from Glass Brick

Separating the space in a small apartment is a complex task, especially when you need to separate the kitchen from the hallway or bedroom. Solid partitions partially solve the problem but turn rooms into storage spaces.

Designers from the studio Koshka Interiors found a solution and built a partition between the bedroom and living room from glass brick. The partition visually expanded the apartment space and filled it with light.
