12 Design Hacks We Spotted in Projects
We share how designers store wine in the bar counter, hide the pantry on the kitchen, and zone space using glass blocks from online stores
We reviewed all the January projects once again and selected 12 interesting design solutions that can be useful for you.
Additional Storage Spaces
Customers asked designer Evgenia Makarova to create a soft corner for guests on the kitchen. The pro decided to make the most of this and built a bench with a fold-down seat and an internal box for storage.

Multi-functional Structure
Designer Olga Katyuk created a whole structure by the window: it includes a seating area in the dining zone, a desk, and a wardrobe for clothing and cosmetics storage. Thanks to this solution, the client can practice yoga and dance at home — there is now enough free space.

When tiles in bathroom finishes become tedious, you can find more interesting solutions. For example, combine paint with special waterproof wallpaper panels as in Anastasia Marchenko's project.

Drying Cabinet and Paw Washing Tray
The client requested designer Nina Ivanenko to find a place to dry clothes — there is no balcony in the apartment, and floor drying takes up space and ruins the interior view. In the end, the pro positioned an electric towel rack behind ventilated facades above a specially designed tray for pet paw washing.

How to quickly zone a space? Designer Julia Grabko solved this issue with semi-transparent mesh curtains — they visually separate the kitchen from the insulated balcony.
