To design a comfortable 40 square meter apartment for a young person, designer Anastasia Brandt enlarged the living room at the expense of the corridor and freed the kitchen from overhanging mezzanines. The owner of the apartment gave up a full bedroom: he only needs a thick floor mattress that can be tucked away in a cabinet during the day.

Designer Julia Chernova took maximum advantage of the space in a two-bedroom apartment in a Stalin-era building: she did a reconfiguration, joined the kitchen and living room, significantly enlarged the bathroom, and designed many storage spaces while preserving the cozy atmosphere of a 'professorial' apartment near the country's top university.

Anna Smolyakova transformed a two-room flat in a block house built in 1975 into a modern space for a young woman through minimal reconfiguration and an interesting artistic solution.
