Slick Flooring Tile

The most practical solution for home office floors is ceramic tile or porcelain stoneware, which are easy to keep clean. When choosing tiles, pay attention to the texture: the surface should not be glossy, as this makes the floor slippery.

No Electric Underfloor Heating

Electric underfloor heating is a necessity in our climate. Moreover, heated floors in the home office allow shoes to dry quickly. Considering that ceramic tile itself is cold, heating must be installed.

Forgot About a Duplex Switch

To avoid having to return to the home office to turn off the lights after entering your apartment, install a pass-through switch. It's better placed in the living room, grouped with other switches. A good solution is to turn on the lights in the living room from the home office and duplicate the switch.

Insufficient Lighting

A mirror is necessary in a home office, and proper lighting for the mirror is important. Additionally, different lighting scenarios and secondary soft lighting are needed. Plan for light fixtures during renovation and run the wiring accordingly.

No Space for a Pouf

When planning storage systems, do not forget about comfort — find space for a bench or pouf for shoe storage in advance.
