How to Create a Stylish Interior Design?
Thinking about how to refresh your interior and make it more stylish? Together with experts from Leroy Merlin, we share inspiring ideas.
Combine elements from different styles
Don't focus on just one style or color — experiment. For example, place two chairs with different designs but the same color on your kitchen table. In a Scandinavian-style living room, add classical accents — a large chandelier and paintings or mirrors.

Use geometric patterns
Move away from complex forms like waves, zigzags, and half-circles which were popular in the past season. Choose clean geometry and sharp lines. The application of patterns depends only on your imagination — whether it's wallpaper or a striped blanket in the bedroom.

Focus on natural materials
Natural materials and eco-interiors are trending today. Use such finishes that will age beautifully and last long. A safe choice is wood, stone, glass, cotton, and linen.

Create a vacation vibe
Summer holiday theme is always in trend. To create a beach-style interior, go for combinations of red and blue tones, stripes, and themed accessories. These include cotton and coarse linen cushions with shells and fish prints, wicker baskets, and rope decor.

Combine monochrome with bold accents
Another winning approach to creating a trendy interior is using a monochrome base. The foundation includes gray (or several shades of varying intensity), white, and black. If you want to add an accent color, yellow or turquoise look very nice in these combinations.
