5 Things That Make It Easier to Maintain Order on the Kitchen

The kitchen is, probably, the most difficult room to keep clean. Is it possible to do a quality cleaning quickly? We found 5 things that will help keep order in your home forever.

How to achieve order in cabinets and the refrigerator? How to quickly get rid of ubiquitous dust and maintain floor and work surface cleanliness? Where to store small items that can get lost? These 5 items may seem simple, but once you place them in your kitchen, the time and effort spent on cleaning will significantly decrease.

Organizers

Grains, pasta, sugar, spices — how to store all this properly and most importantly in an organized way? Organizers will help: pour powdery products into containers of different shapes and sizes. Choose transparent ones so that grains are visible. For spices, use magnetic or wall-mounted organizers. It's better to place them on the inside of cabinet doors to avoid cluttering space.

Hooks and Hangers

There is usually no space on the kitchen and extra free corners never hurt anyone. To free up useful centimeters, use hooks and wall hangers. They can be hung, for example, under the sink.

Trash Container

Remove peels and crumbs without spilling anything on the floor every time you cook — organize a mini-trash station. It's convenient to clean vegetables, eggs, and dispose of packaging without having to search for a trash can. If there is no special container, you can use a bag, an unnecessary box, or a cut plastic bottle.

Paper Towels

Quickly wipe dust, absorb spilled water, dry hands or vegetables — paper towels are much more convenient than sponges, at least because after cleaning they don’t need to be washed or wrung out.

Also, paper towels are great for polishing dishes, and if you place a couple under the cutting board, it won’t slip (by the way, this very board can be cleaned with paper towels too). Stock up on additional packs for the refrigerator: greens last longer when stored in paper.

Mini Vacuum Cleaner

The second problem after dust on every kitchen is crumbs. Actually, it’s not that easy to sweep them off the table without spilling on the floor. A battery-powered mini-vacuum cleaner will come in handy. Of course, it’s not powerful enough for a deep apartment cleaning, but it's perfect for keeping order in the kitchen.
