How to Use LED Lighting in Modern Interior Design
1. General Lighting
For small apartments, the main goal is to visually increase the volume of the room. In this case, the most acceptable option will be bright contour lighting of the ceiling and floor. By the way, it's not necessary to illuminate the floor, but if the rooms are designed in minimalism style and there is little furniture, such an approach to interior decoration will be perfect. A cable or LED strip along the entire perimeter of the ceiling beautifully emphasizes the depth of light and the chosen interior style.
You should definitely buy a light dimmer. With its help, you can adjust the color temperature - its saturation and brightness level. Don't forget about traditional lighting fixtures: the ceiling area should be lit with small spotlights. For a more daring idea, I suggest this option: make two rows of LED strips along the ceiling perimeter and place a small ceiling light in the center - it's original and very creative.

2. Task Lighting
LED lighting provides unlimited possibilities in interior design. It can serve as task lighting: home office, kitchen zone - here it will be especially relevant.
The workspace can be illuminated using an LED strip - just stick it inside bookshelves or along the entire perimeter of the table. In this case, you will get soft diffused lighting that is comfortable for the eyes. When using LED strips, you can give them any shape and place them almost anywhere, for example, simply stick it on a monitor or speakers.
Proper lighting is especially important in the kitchen - it can turn cooking into a pleasant and comfortable process. For the working area, choose LEDs with high protection against moisture - water, steam, and contamination will not be a problem. You can experiment with color - the backlight can be white, red, orange, green, blue, or any other color.

3. Decorative Lighting
Use original lighting for the decoration of your home. It will look interesting if an LED strip is laid on the ceiling or wall in the form of some shape. Such a construction will add more volume and depth to the room.
With LEDs, you can decorate furniture - sofas and armchairs decorated in this way will seem to float in weightlessness, creating an atmosphere of magic and wonder. The main white light can be 'relaxed' across the ceiling in the form of many small bulbs or decorated with a picture made of glowing elements.

4. Accent Lighting
With the help of LEDs, you can create wonderful artistic solutions in terms of beauty and elegance. The most effective lighting looks where the general ambient light is not bright or dimmed. Paintings, decorative items in interior design, shelves, glass shelves - with a light touch of the hand, they transform from ordinary things into special ones. A partition with many niches located between a spacious living room and hallway can also be played with using LEDs. Thin strips are mounted in the niches, and the light is regulated so that individual elements are more brightly illuminated. These contrasting highlights create an atmosphere of lightness, weightlessness, and transparency.
Light curtains with LED strips - soft warm glow creates a cozy romantic atmosphere. If you have stairs, highlight the steps - this is a practical and effective solution that adds a bit of solemnity to the interior.
