Summary
The clients purchased this home in the Calipso Village residential community, located just 28 km from MKAD, as an investment property. Designer Tatyana Loseva was tasked with creating an interior that would suit the future family living there and be equipped with everything necessary so the residents wouldn’t have to spend time furnishing the rooms.

The house was purchased with a pre-planned layout for the rooms, but it was Svetlana who suggested the layout for the bathrooms: she designed the plumbing system for the first and second floors. As a result, the house has a fully functional interior.The bedrooms are furnished, the bathrooms are fully equipped, and there are closets as well as a separate laundry room.
The living room is also furnished and ready for use from day one.Only one room remains empty — serving as space for the future owners’ personalized plans: an office, nursery, guest bedroom, or creative studio.
Muted light beige tones, wood, fabric-like wallpaper, or subtle passive botanical patterns were used as the foundation. Since this is a house for sale, it was necessary to create something neutral so that people could experience the aesthetics of a light countryside space filled with nature.
"The highlight of the project is the fireplace built by ourselves from GKL panels, covered with base stones, plywood, and lumber from a construction store," explains Svetlana. "This approach saved money and allowed us to fit the fireplace perfectly within the room’s proportions. It became the true focal point of the living room, with the relaxation area naturally surrounding it. The texture of the stones and wood complements the overall natural palette of the interior. Although it’s an electric fireplace, it’s the one that gives the house a cozy country feel and creates a beautiful decorative area throughout the year."
A large corner kitchen is a very bright space with two windows. One drying cabinet is located near the sink, while the rest are simple open shelves for decorations and dishes. There is also a large niche built in for a refrigerator: a standard refrigerator is used, but if customers feel this isn’t enough, they can replace it with a double one, as there is enough space for that. The countertop made of quartz aggregate, extending into the window sill and complete with a sink, is every housewife’s dream.
We chose wood-effect ceramic tile for the flooring on the first floor because the house has underfloor heating. On the second floor, heat-resistant quartz vinyl is used, with underfloor heating there as well. The walls are painted, with a couple of walls covered in decorative Italian wallpaper, and the hallway features bamboo panels.
Ceramic tiles in various shades cover the walls in the bathrooms; the layout is designed so that all pipes are concealed within the walls — no cabinets for toilets, a minimalist approach with plenty of space. The ceilings are sloped and made of painted GKL, while the straight sections use drop ceilings with recessed lights.
The clients requested that furniture of sufficiently good quality be installed right away, so the beds, chairs, table, and all built-in furniture were custom-made. Handwoven lanterns on the staircase and two lanterns with tassels above the table add a touch of charm to the space and soften the glossy ceramic tabletop. All the window treatments in the house were also tailored to order—exactly the right size and color; many windows feature Roman curtains or wooden blinds.
The storage in the house is thoughtfully planned down to the smallest details. A large laundry area was immediately equipped with a storage cabinet and a table, and there’s a spacious storage space under the stairs—large enough to fit a Christmas tree, a snowboard, or even an inflatable boat.
The master bedroom plan includes a walk-in closet with motion-sensor lighting, eliminating the need for cabinets in the room and keeping it spacious and uncluttered. The second bedroom and child’s room each have their own cabinets, while there is enough space in each bathroom to install shelves or storage units.
