The 52 sqm two-bedroom apartment in Stalinskaya was transformed into a stylish interior with a distinct personality (+photos before)

In the kitchen, the upper cabinets were removed to make the space appear more open and spacious. Storage needs were met with tall cabinets on the other side of the kitchen: there, a refrigerator and oven with a microwave are built in, and a space for a coffee area is created behind a sliding panel. The columns feature wood-like finishes and match the dining set and window styling.
The lower units feature fronts in wall color, with the countertop and apron, along with a round brass-colored extractor hood, serving as focal points. On either side of the kitchen doorway, there are illuminated display cabinets provided for storing dishes.
To organize storage effectively, built-in cabinets reaching the ceiling were designed, as well as utility sections in the hallway, spacious storage systems in the bedroom, and functional furniture crafted based on custom designs. Most of the storage systems are integrated into the apartment’s architecture and appear as part of the overall interior design.
The furniture selection was based on a combination of modern pieces and distinctive elements that enhance the atmosphere of the apartment in an old building. Smooth shapes, expressive textures, and color accents were key criteria. The client played an active role in deciding on the materials, furniture, and artworks.
Special attention was paid to paintings and decorative elements that emphasize the uniqueness of the space. The client painted the artwork for the bedroom herself.
Quartz flooring has been installed throughout the house; the exception is the entryway, where patterned tiles were chosen, and the bathroom. In the bathroom, there is small-format white tile on the floor with black inlays, and rectangular blue tile with pink grout in the shower and on the wall above the bathtub. The rest of the surfaces are painted a deep blue, including the high ceiling moldings.
