However, a greenhouse is not only for common crops: it's also an ideal environment for growing exotic plants that would struggle in our climate!

What Garden Greenhouse to Choose? There is a wide selection of garden greenhouses. The most common one is the so-called "tunnel" greenhouse. While it's very effective for protecting seedlings and cuttings, it often looks unattractive. To enjoy a quality greenhouse and decorate your garden, we prefer glass greenhouses. But in the harshest climates, we opt for polycarbonate.

What Is the Ideal Size of a Garden Greenhouse?

Besides choosing a greenhouse effectively, you must not go wrong with the area! It should provide enough space for your intended use. If it's only to protect a few plants in winter, 5 m2 will be sufficient. On the other hand, it's hard to sow and take cuttings in too little space! Moreover, if you want to overwinter a large number of plants, remember that each needs its own space or else fungi and diseases will spread. Your greenhouse should also ventilate well. Finally, depending on your region, certain additional features may be needed: for example, heating or a solar shade.
