• Avoid properties with living rooms and kitchens facing west. In addition to more intense heating, direct sunlight can affect appliance operation and fade flooring, furniture and soft furnishings.
• Apartments with balconies may shade lower floors even if they face north. Therefore, it's always useful to personally visit the property.
