The renovation project focused on updating the living area, as the kitchen was very small, almost no natural light, and the spaces were too separated.

The goal of the renovation was to create a spacious, bright, cozy and functional home designed for a large family with three young children. The priorities of the homeowners were as follows: a comfortable kitchen with a large office area for families with small children, a maximally spacious living room with maximum natural light, a good dining area and consequently a cozy zone with a small office for working from home.

Upon entering the home, you'll find the living room. A space that helps separate the day and night zones. Two individual wardrobes with maximum capacity were designed and installed in this area, as well as a dresser with a mirror.

Between the living room and access to the day zone is a distribution block with three spaces: a guest bedroom with bathroom, laundry room and a small room. The latter connected to the corridor through a 1.30 m opening with sliding doors, creating space adjacent to the living room and making a small area where children can play near the day zone.

One of the main tasks in the project was to transfer natural light from the living room to the kitchen, as there was almost no natural lighting in the kitchen. To achieve this goal, the designer decided to design a transparent partition element that visually connects two zones: the dining and office areas, as well as the dining area of the living room.

The relaxation zone includes a gallery with a large window where the designer placed an office area on one side and a reading zone on the other. She designed furniture that combines four functions: space distribution, TV cabinet, storage and office. The television and storage area is located in the center of the room in front of the sofas. It extends to the gallery to create an office area with a desk and several shelves.

Behind the individual TV wardrobe is the dining area. The designers created a spacious place with a large extendable table and several shelves that already existed in the house and which they wanted to preserve for decorating the space. The backs of the chairs are upholstered with three types of prints coordinated with the wallpaper on the back wall and cushions and accessories in the living room.

For the kitchen, neutral lines in wood and white color were used with a modern and elegant design. From the interior studio, the goal was to create as functional kitchen as possible, with a work area on one side and a food preparation zone on the other. Kitchen furniture matches neutral lines with white Scandinavian style in Rekker design, featuring sensors for opening on wall modules and INDIRECT lighting inside the lower modules, as well as a wooden countertop.

The master bedroom includes a walk-in closet and bathroom. At the foot of the bed, individual furniture was designed with multiple drawers for maximum storage, as well as a module in the form of a desk-closet that becomes a second workspace for remote work when needed.

The largest room was intended for two children, while the smallest one was for a baby. The double bedroom includes a single bed with balcony and plenty of storage space under both beds. The size of the baby's room determined the need for minimal and necessary furniture in pale pink color.
