This project masterfully combines efficiency and comfort for the warm Pacific climate. Its compact two-level main house is equipped with a spacious roof that shields from direct sunlight. Smart design elements such as cross-ventilation enhance natural cooling.
Light-colored plaster wall finishes and wooden accents complement the picturesque landscape. Traditional materials such as brick, concrete, steel, and palm fronds are used thoughtfully in the construction, connecting the house to the region's cultural heritage. This blend of modern design and traditional materials creates a functional and culturally rich living space.

The main goal of the project was to design a house with an extensive architectural program including four bedrooms and various public areas, ensuring high comfort levels while maintaining the core principle of efficient land use. This was a key factor during conceptual design, which defined the overall style and reflected in the compact and efficient volumetric structure of the two-level main house.
Considering the climatic conditions of the humid and warm Pacific coastline, a large floating roof covers all sides of the house providing protection from sunlight. Spaces are also designed with openings that facilitate cross-ventilation, part of the house's bioclimatic strategies.
Regarding materials, a palette of light tones was chosen with milk-colored plaster walls as the dominant color, complemented by brown accents from wooden elements. This creates harmony where green nature and light tones of the house complement each other.
The project was implemented using a brick structure and walls, highlighting the use of steel frame with wooden beams and 'huesito de coco' made from palm fronds in the flooring. This architectural combination not only ensures strength and durability but also creates a connection to traditional techniques and materials of the region.
