Take a Look at This Danish Villa That Is 85 Years Old and Just Renovated
At the end of the article you will see photos of the facade and roof of this house built in 1936 in Weyla, Denmark.
PinterestBefore the renovation, the house walls were red brick, now they are white, and the roof is also gray but of higher quality with better insulation and skylights.
Inside, around 100 m² divided into two floors, open spaces prevail with integrated and custom-made solutions such as shelves in the living room, pastel colors on the walls, antique elements found at flea markets, and classic Danish design items (chairs and lamps, primarily).
All rooms have plenty of space without being overloaded with furniture or decor, even the kitchen which is very clean, lacking upper cabinets and featuring this custom base cabinet that works perfectly as storage and always looks great in the kitchen. Views of the Weyla fjord open from inside, one of the reasons why this couple fell in love with it. Despite the need for renovation, they say that when stopping to admire it, it feels like looking at a painting. Not a bad description, right? Let's see if you'll like it.
