Green is one of the most favorable colors for use in interior design. It is a stress reliever, setting a positive tone for household members, bringing a friendly mood, calming conflicts and soothing the nervous system.

And there is never too much of it. The depth of a room is accentuated by combining several shades of green, the presence of live plants. A chandelier, glass decorative vases and a mirror with a green frame will provide an abundance of color without overloading the overall color palette of the room.

Painted walls in a soft green color will complement bookshelves of the same hue. If it is an office, create a color accent on the shelves by painting them in a vibrant color.

Elegance and sophistication will be created by decorating the dining room in pale cool tones: pale blue for furniture, tablecloths and decorative cushions, soft green for tableware and natural flowers in a given palette (white carnations, hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, tulips). Bright vases on the table will create a necessary accent.

The easiest way to change the colors in a bedroom is to add color. If you are tired of monochrome wallpaper, paste squares from the same color palette on the wall in a checkerboard pattern. Combined with low solid chairs and contrasting soft cushions, you will get a unique modern interior.

Combine elements of the same color for room decor. Cover the table with a tablecloth that delights the eye, lay a mat of the same or similar color on the floor, dress your cushions in matching covers, and decorate the wall with cute framed pictures. This will bind the elements of the room into a single whole.

All colors blend beautifully with white. Try using such a combination for your bedroom. On a smooth wall of young green color in the headboard of your bed, attach an elaborate ornamental decoration with rich plasterwork, highlighting it with white paint.

Create a room in the Rococo style. Place an antique bureau, an antique bedside table and a chair in Danish style, and decorate the interior with small soft cushions. Do not over-decorate the room with ornaments; limit yourself to a couple of paintings, a minimalist table lamp, and a vase with flowers.

It looks very charming to use "feminine" details in interior design – ribbons, lace, ribbons, embroidered cushions and tablecloths, throws. Combined with a soft green shade of the room, these details will add coziness and charm.

An interesting idea is to use dark brown or black paint for furniture. Then green glass items will give you their unique opalescent shimmer.

If the area of your room allows you to decorate the windowsill, use landscape views outside the window for inspiration. Soft upholstery and small cozy cushions will be just right.

For a neutral-colored sofa, green linen covers are perfect. Complete the interior with a small green cushion on a chair, a side table and room flowers, and feel like you are among the fresh greenery of a garden.

In addition to white, green blends beautifully with warm golden tones. For decorating a living room, this is an excellent option. Walls in pale mint color and curtains in green tones will vividly complement the golden carpet on the floor, Roman curtains on the windows, and a bronze table antique. Soft blue upholstery of armchairs and matching cushions will lighten the color palette of the room.
