In today's world, we are constantly surrounded by innovative technologies, and we can no longer imagine our lives without a variety of devices.

Sometimes it feels like we want to blend with nature, to feel its power and strength! Some may say that this reflects our animal instincts, while others might argue it's a tribute to fashion. Regardless, animals in interior design have been popular for many centuries, long before the terms 'interior' and 'design' were even coined.

Wild but Kind-Hearted!

In primitive societies, people used skins of killed animals to insulate their caves, proving their dominance in the animal hierarchy. Thousands of years have passed, living conditions have changed dramatically, yet instincts remain. Hunting has transformed into a hobby, and animal taxidermy and skins have become trophies to decorate interiors. More peaceful individuals prefer to use images of animals in their home decor.

Each animal is a symbol that can reflect the character and life philosophy of the apartment owner.

In the spirit of the king of beasts...

Animal themes in interior design are often used in African style. The wild expanses of Africa can inspire anyone.

This style suits a willful, strong, and free-spirited individual. To emphasize leadership qualities, organizational abilities, kindness, strength, and power, use paintings, various figurines, ceramics, and porcelain with lion motifs.

Excellent additions to the decor would be pillows with images of the king of beasts on a savanna background. For wall colors, warm tones like beige, brown, sand, gold, wheat, and yellow would be ideal. Modern dark furniture made from natural oak or pine, carefully selected sofas, armchairs, and chairs will complement the African style.

A large and powerful elephant or a playful and cheerful zebra?

Tell me which animal is your favorite, and I'll tell you who you are! Indeed, every animal in our minds is associated with a certain set of qualities. For example, designing a living room in a playful yet elegant style can involve using black-and-white zebra prints. These could be pillows, carpets, one or more walls, or paintings and photographs of zebras. Striped patterns symbolize the contrast in the owner's life, with both bright happy days and challenging times. Adding vibrant green to the interior will give such a design a fresh accent, cheerful vibe, and bring joyful moments into life beyond the black-and-white stripes.

Elephants, mammoths, buffaloes, and aurochs symbolize strength and status. The elephant is the favorite Indian animal after the sacred cow. Images of elephants in interior design are associated with wealth and bring good fortune.

Hang a painting of elephants against African landscapes or in Indian style on the wall, arrange porcelain, ceramic, glass, or toy elephants on shelves, tables, or floors. Use gilded or brightly embroidered fabrics, stones, Buddhist ornaments, and accessories to add oriental touches to the interior.

Playful vinyl cats on the walls, such as above a hallway countertop or in the living room above the sofa, create a fun atmosphere.

You can print photos of your beloved pets and hang them in frames on the wall.

Horse paintings look great in teenagers' rooms. They symbolize a free spirit, individuality, and uniqueness. For a glamorous person, a vibrant interior design with pink or deep red poodle figurines, Chihuahuas, pandas with colorful ribbons or bows in fuchsia color would be ideal.

Jungles call!

Animal themes suit children's rooms well. Use wallpaper with vibrant jungle scenes and colorful animals, colored prints, printed photos, or wall paintings.

This kind of room becomes a special place for the child, shaping their worldview, inspiring creativity, and setting a cheerful and joyful mood.
