The new villa from ACE DESIGN is a six-story townhouse located in Nanshan district, Shenzhen, one of the ten most luxurious villas in Shenzhen. It is an elegant and serene modern masterpiece that has stood the test of time.

Surrounded by lakes and dense forests, it allows owners to travel to the Shenzhen Bay and South China Sea right at their doorstep. Here, living in a 'city within the city', they find absolute peace and beauty.

Compared to the scarcity of villas, it is even rarer for villa owners to have exceptional taste and aesthetic level exceeding resources, reflecting their endless artistic treasures and lifestyle.

In the healthy living system of Huai Si, founder of ACE DESIGN, she asserts that luxury housing designers must have a deep understanding of inhabitants, revealing their cultural ideals and artistic preferences to create truly good design.

The artwork by Shuang Liang hanging on the first floor uses calm, chaotic and quiet lines to focus on tranquility, record realism through emptiness and create a Zen consciousness, evoking implicit associations with cultural contexts. Even dynamic changes of cyclical memories convey the purity of artistic practice.

"The owner of this project is an elegant, successful woman with a refined taste. Her collection of contemporary art demonstrates her luxurious lifestyle. At the beginning of the design, she expressed a desire to create an artistic living environment for her family and herself, where art is always part of life and often resonates with cultural harmonies," says the designer.

Nature awakens interest, art brings fame, culture integrates the world. The taste preferences and feelings of the owners rise to the level of physical and mental pleasure and resonance thanks to the new development strategy from ACE DESIGN, leading to the creation of everyday beauty.

"Cactus" is a work by Italian artist Loris Cecchini. The three-dimensional structure made of steel and cactus confirms the interaction between "organic" and "natural." It expresses the inner beauty of plants through forms and structural paths in their complex evolution. A timeless connection emerges between macro- and micro-world, integrating the atmosphere of family interaction.

Light is the natural essence, carrier of beautiful metaphors, guiding every movement of people in space.

"Canyon" creates a gap, bringing wind and light, leaving large areas of white minimalist space. It bestows the art of light and shadow over time, connecting subtle changes and interactive pleasures between floors.

Changing the structure of light and movement, a long narrow canyon was created on the side wall of the first floor dining room. The daughter's room on the second floor opens onto the canyon, allowing parents and children to interact through a window. This small detail contributes to close family relationships.

It also serves as a temporary kitchen space for the housewife. Daily artistic decoration makes the space interesting, conveying the taste of life and a warm atmosphere of family interaction.

Interaction among people, family, objects, and art with life is often the focus of home design, defining the scale of the scene. Here, living echoes of life are found in works by contemporary Chinese artists such as Shuang Liang, Bing Xu, Shaodji Liang, and Li Zhou, as well as in the Western perspective from renowned Italian artist Loris Cecchini.

When East and West meet and collide in spatial scenes, they create a poetic bridge between physical space and the hearts of inhabitants.

Healthy home with pleasure of nature

The fact is that designers must have an holistic vision, logic and systematic problem-solving abilities to make modern luxury real estate design stand out in the trends of time and convey true value of lifestyle.

In response to this project characterized by lake life and low-density seclusion, designers must solve more realistic renovation challenges — considering the humid environment of Shenzhen and the aquatic location of the project, how to transform the original four-story villa into a six-story building? How to solve the problem of long, narrow spaces with lighting and ventilation only from two sides of the building? How to change the monotonous dynamics of the original structure? And how to ensure a stylish and comfortable modern lifestyle for the family?

Avoided layout was created to connect separate first and lower floors, delivering aesthetics surpassing nature with a butterfly decoration. Two butterflies inspired by artist Li Zhou's work "Metamorphosis", using traditional knitting techniques to create flexible wires in shape, light and dynamic like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis showing the tension of rebirth. Finally, two separate floors are connected flexibly, creating a magnificent panorama.

The negative floor is the central place for family entertainment. Each family member can find a corner where they can comfortably relax, together but without disturbing others. "Humanity in space stems from the intertwining of family scent and cultural taste."

A foldable screen with crane pattern on a black background introduces eastern poetry into the corner, achieving aesthetic integration of traditional culture and modern housing. At this moment, people can enjoy the pleasure of lightness, comfort and tranquility with a book in hand, surrounded by warmth of daylight and beauty of the four seasons.

Different stairs, as functional elements and artistic installations, soften the monotony of space and allow valuable ventilation to penetrate previously dark, one-sided negative floor. A suspended hatch following the active staircase order brings light and shadow into space and accompanies each family member's daily trajectory.

Artist Shangchun Yan's "Weihu Series" combines Chinese and Western science, creating an internal cultural map with the spirit of space through deeper understanding of form, image and meaning.

Elegant dreaming and hazy verses from Weihu are abstractly depicted using continuous ink paintings. The space presents pleasure that can be studied, reflected on and enjoyed in immersive mode, as well as showing a unique taste packed into real literature. Relying on masterpieces, designers integrated the perception of life and aesthetics into daily family atmosphere, making the space not only skillfully created but also rhythmic.

"Only by collecting real life fragments can one make design that resonates with the heart of each family member." Here, the appearance of the house becomes living scenes under the brush of the designer: gathering friends, three family meals, natural views of lake outside windows... All scenes transform into literary contexts integrated into life. This is the connection between people and things, between objects — making each scene of life an abstract interpretation of the spiritual world, elevating to the soul of art.

Art that captivates and connects spirit

Exploring home design, ACE DESIGN aims to create growing family relationships of interaction and timeless artistic spirit in domestic culture rather than just a room.

The daughter's bedroom design goes beyond abstract language and embraces youth fashion art with excellent color combinations and playful spirit, approaching real life scenes infinitely and evoking emotional resonance.

Entering the third floor, a calm and peaceful rest area is presented through nature, art, elegance and culture. Not limited to a certain style, designers create a blend of eastern elegance or western aesthetics, Chinese charm or French classics, colorful inks or black-and-white minimalism to fill the space with various artistic spirits and expressions.

Elegant retro branches and birds, forest greenery, a dot on the bed and wardrobe, light penetrating through curtains... This area gains strong vitality and unlimited aesthetic tension thanks to the combination of eastern and modern styles.

The impression presented by artist Giovanni Occola's work is to capture a priceless moment among chaotic natural tension and frame it on a modern canvas. Abstract artistic relationships between colors and earth shown in the painting create a powerful theatrical scene of images that combine with silence of space itself, touching hearts.

Without superficial decoration, the combination of white canvas and soft tone, as well as contrast between angles and curves demonstrates beauty of freedom through simplicity. Designers aimed to find a balance between noisy city and secluded rest of art and nature, conveying freedom of culture and spirit.

Capturing light and shadows, gentle breeze and pure nature, each scene in the space is finely detailed and alive, comforting mind and body, giving a sense of belonging to the environment based on the philosophy of artistic life in main bedroom.

Free nature light and shadows. How art and life are compatible, internal perception and feelings of inhabitants — this is the true measure of design.

In striving for boundless freedom, elevated nature light and shadows undoubtedly correspond to the divine nature of art which in turn transforms into continuous experience of temporal measurement beyond material.

Returning to the essence of life. ACE DESIGN hopes that design language can become a cultural medium penetrating between people and scenes. That's why these artistic corners were created in living environment — striking photos give a feeling of immersion, turning every daily step into a beautiful melody.

Family conversations, nature appreciation, rest and relaxation — the main functions of space that residents desire. For the fitness zone on the staircase, ACE DESIGN makes light and shadow central heroes, using art as an anchor for emotional uplift and culture of fitness as a focus to create experience growing together with the rich and colorful life of residents.

Combining spatial environment created by art, designers produce additional value corresponding to lifestyle, returning to an atmosphere of self-sufficiency, wealth and warmth.

Thus, describing taste in art, depth of culture, identity of inhabitants, representation of daily fragments and dialogue returning to the heart, rhythm of core space gradually unfolds. And flower, leaf, painting, scene in daily details become emotional artistic points.

Home carrier, "theater of life", aligns with creating artistic taste. Designers turned the owner's wine and cinema taste into diverse, immersive and artistic "theater" — like a Croatian rhapsody. It is a living story unfolding through optical illusions and colors, reaching a rich inner world.
