Atmospheric Hotel Torel 1884 in a 19th Century Building in Porto19 photos
In the name of the Torel 1884 hotel in Porto, Portugal, these numbers are no coincidence: twelve hotel rooms are located in a building from the end of the 19th century. Thanks to such historical heritage, the main task for designers was to preserve the original elements of the building. The interior creators were also inspired by the era of Portuguese explorers and geographical discoveries. That is why rooms and common areas are decorated with palms, wallpapers with exotic birds and plants, and rare fabrics, and each room has its own theme and name: Coffee, Tobacco, Porcelain and others. The lobby and bar deserve special attention — here you can not only have a cup of coffee, but also relax with a book by the fireplace. A great idea and an interesting implementation!
