Blue dining room with pink chairs and 16th-century paintings: a stunning apartment in Paris
In this Parisian apartment, modern design, French style, and Italian art are surprisingly combined. The designer put great effort into selecting colors, fabrics, and textures. At first glance, some color combinations seem impossible in interior design — for example, purple and fuchsia are considered bold experiments. Yet the creator of this project boldly breaks stereotypes. The 16th–17th century Italian artists whose collection of paintings the apartment's owner possesses might have been surprised by the contrast with such vibrant tones and unusual furniture. Nevertheless, this combination looks very fresh. Even against such a striking backdrop, the paintings in golden frames take center stage. What do you think of this bold design choice?
