Beach House in Australia
Beach House in Australia
Architecture studio Edition Office presented the project of a private house in a small resort village of Point Lonsdale in Australia. The residence with an area of 292 square meters is a linear beach house consisting of four interconnected pavilions, each with its own vaulted roof and individual function. Access to the garden is possible from any part of the house, while covered terraces serve as a transitional space between interior and environment.
Multiple openings between interconnected pavilions eliminate the need for air conditioning and forced cooling. Eaves overhangs shade internal spaces, preventing overheating from direct sunlight.
