The restaurant and cafe Capriole Café in The Hague, Netherlands, is located in the building of a former paint and varnish factory. The interior design of this building was handled by the studio Bureau Fraai.

Capriole Café engages in various areas of activity, so the designer had to consider all aspects of the space. While the second floor functions as a bar and restaurant, the first level serves as a training center for baristas, including an exhibition space, office, and conference hall. The diverse sections were successfully integrated through steel structural elements and décor. Beams and planes of black metal divide the space into different zones and help navigate comfortably within the area.
