Located between a pond and the ocean, this Long Island house in New York State (USA) allows the surrounding landscape to flow into itself. The 418-square-meter building, designed by Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects, features a metal structure clad in red wood. A gentle staircase leads to the house, where the sound of water can be heard, while the nearby pool is hidden from view by vegetation and a low fence. Upon entering, you are immediately confronted with the vastness of the ocean ahead. The home's open space connects both water elements—the ocean and the pond—acting as a bridge between them.
