Connecting with Nature Through Architecture: Family Home in Melbourne16 photos
In her projects, architect Sarah Henry always strives to maintain a connection with nature. She followed the same concept when designing her own home in Melbourne. Large opening windows, simple brick and concrete finishes, wooden furniture, and plenty of solutions for placing plants: flower niches, a well-maintained garden, and an olive tree in the middle of the house. A minimalist interior in natural tones helps to stay focused on what matters most: the sky, flowers, shrubs, and trees. Indeed, it's delightful when even in the city, you're surrounded by nature!
