Henriette and her husband fell in love with the coastal area north of Copenhagen when they first came here on vacation. Very soon after, they began searching for a home to move there with their two children. When they found this charming 100-year-old cottage between the sea and the forest, the real estate agent strongly advised them to demolish the house and build a new, more modern one—its condition was that bad.
