Cottage Home for Musician Family in English Backcountry13 photos

The Woodhouse & Law studio recently completed a project of a cozy cottage home in Somerset for a local musician's family. This is the second house for the owners, where they come on weekends in search of silence and solitude, so comfort and warmth of a home fireplace were put in the foreground of interior design. The cottage was built over 100 years ago, and new owners naturally preferred a traditional English style. Although there was room for modern solutions such as an addition with a dining area featuring glass walls and wonderful views. Beautiful!
