House in Dnipro

The architectural bureau ArchObraz, led by Alexey Obraztsov, completed the project "House on the Hill" in Dnipro, Ukraine. The 400 sqm mansion features a unique shape shaped by its location at the boundary between high-rise and estate developments, as well as complex soil conditions on the site. Around 1995, a landslide destroyed several buildings on this territory. After a comprehensive analysis, the decision was made to place the lower floor below ground level. The upper part spirals upward, appearing to float above the plot. Panoramic glass windows offer stunning views of the open valley with its natural landscape.
