Family House in the Forest and Rock Surroundings in Finland

This remarkable house in the Finnish city of Espoo was built from scratch by its owners. For a family of five, it was important to have plenty of space while also integrating the building into the surrounding nature. The architect beautifully highlighted the local landscape and made the house a continuation of it. High ceilings and many open spaces give the interior a light atmosphere, while the rocks outside the windows do not weigh down the overall look. On the first floor, the family placed a sauna and jacuzzi, as well as a secluded veranda where the whole family can spend time away from prying eyes and in solitude with nature!
