Dengfenglai Hotel in China
The architectural firm ZX Studio designed the Dengfenglai Hotel in the urban area of Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, China. The 400 square meter building was created in accordance with a set of restrictions not only related to construction norms but also to style. The humid climate, strong winds, and frequent typhoons were also taken into account during the project development, particularly in material selection. The sloped site resulted in several interconnected blocks.
