House in Puerto Rico Restored After Hurricane18 photos
This house in Puerto Rico, built in the 1920s, was severely damaged during Hurricane Maria in 2017. The roof collapsed and the floor was destroyed, but the owners did not delay the renovation and soon the villa took on a new look. First, they reinforced the walls and ceiling, then focused on interior design: they added vibrant accents to the cream and beige color palette, and colonial-style furniture and decor were blended with modern elements. There was also something that did not need renovation — a luxurious ocean view. Today, the house begins a new life and is rented out for family vacations or get-togethers with friends.
